Supporting the NHS and Sheffield Children’s Hospital

We were delighted when we were contacted by Bethany at Sheffield Children’s Hospital. We really wanted to show our support to the NHS for their hard work and courageous efforts over the past few months in the fight against the corona virus pandemic.

Bethany asked us if we could donate activity bags to be used to contain their ready-made activities at the Children’s Hospital. The activity bags would be used to distract children during procedures and to keep them entertained between seeing doctors and other specialists during their visit.

The activity bags will be given to each child to keep them busy and entertained instead of the communal sharing toys which were used prior to the virus outbreak to avoid the spread of infection.

Lorraine the MD of Colour Heroes hand delivered the activity bags and activity sheets to Bethany at the Hospital.

“We were very happy to be doing our little bit, educating, inspiring and supporting children with reading, writing and encouraging creativity; it is at the heart of Colour Heroes and our team. We hope that our colourful activity bags and sheets will go a small way to brightening up a child’s day in the challenging time. We would like to take this opportunity to say a huge and heartfelt thank you from all of us for the selfless and unwavering dedication the staff at the NHS continue to show everyday working on the frontline saving lives.”
